After opening the pre-orders of iPhone 4S earlier this week to other 22 countries Apple was expected to launch a new program in their infamous Apple Retail Store and Online Store, they were rumored to introduce a new pilot program in Store, which could allow users to shop their orders and pick the products from their local Apple retail stores.
Earlier today it is reported that Apple Online store is going through the schedule maintenance period which in result added the new feature to the Store, but initially, the service is only appeared for the San Francisco three Apple Retail Stores. The new service allows you to order your product online and ship to the local Apple Store for in-store pickup.

While testing the new shipment method, we found out that the shipment method is bit slower than the direct method, in this method user have to wait a bit more than the regular purchase shipment. As you can see in the below a mentioned image. It is highly expected that the order will arrive in the store before the mentioned date, but could take a little time for the store processing.
Orders for standard items stocked by Apple retail stores will indicate same-day availability for the three San Francisco locations, allowing customers to place their orders online and simply visit the store for immediate pickup.
