Now not everyone can be a developer and can purchase the Apple’s developer account for $99 in order to Download Xcode and to make Apps and submit them on the Developer Portal. And to use Xcode is not easy. Some coding skills are required for you to use Xcode and compile the App and test it on your iDevice. The procedure is very long, and not everyone can afford a MAC or Apple’s Developers Account.
However, people can get an iPad some how. So those people who got an iPad must be thankful to Two Lives Left, The developers behind the App Codify, which lets you make anything on your iPad and run it. Codify is a platform that game designers, educators and students can use to create games and experiment with visual ideas. Codify is an iPad app that allows users to create and play interactive games and simulations directly on their device without any hard skills required.

Codify is made on Lua programming language. Users can simply adjust numbers by dragging them, adjust colors by touching them and can add many feature like Gyroscope, Accelerometer, Multi-Touch and much more.
Codify is designed for simple Development and for the end users who are willing to test their skills with the App. To use the App is really fun and user friendly. First see the official demo below:
Video:

After After seeing the wonderful demo you must be moe clear now regarding the app and its functions. Codify is pretty good for programmers, beginners and for those, who want to learn coding. This App provides you everything on your finger tips. All you have to do is touch, and you are done.
Codify, comes with many great samples, which can be viewed, edited, and ran at the same time. The App also includes a Getting Started Document which helps an end user to know about the App in a useful way. Codify is really an awesome app for coding. We can learn many things from this App and make them for real. We can make our small dreams come true.

Obviously, this App cannot replace Xcode, but still we can do something small and learn something from this app to proceed further on to use Xcode.
The App is only available in New Zealand, Australian and Japanese App Stores. So if you are one of the users from the above places, you can proceed on with the download of this App. Obviously the App is not for free because everything precious has a cost.
Codify is available for US$7.99 / AU$8.49. You can download the app from the iTunes link below.
Download Codify (iTunes Link)
UpdateX1:
The App was released early in the above stores and is ahead of launch in other Stores also. It should be available shortly in other stores. The only difference is of Time Zone, as told by the Developer.
Another great news is that when the App is available in he other stores, we will be doing a small give away of this app. So stay tuned with us.

3 Best Cases For New Apple’s iPhone 4S

Posted: by AppleWorld in Labels:

The famous Apple iPhone 4S is finally released. Many people have already bought it, and some have even tried to drop it and see what will happen; I guess you have already seen this video with an iPhone 4S drop test showing that Apple’s new device isn’t durable at all – its glass case was shattered after a couple of drops. Well, if you don’t want the same thing to happen to your new iPhone 4S, it’s a good idea to find a strong case that will protect your phone in case of accidental drops.

There are many good cases for the new iPhone 4S, but many people want their cases to be not only durable, but also very stylish, too, so today I would like to speak about some really cool cases that will make you and your phone stand out in the crowd.
Here they are:
1. ID America Gasket Case

The ID America Gasket Case, inspired by the shape of the head gasket on a performance engine, is one of the most stylish cases I’ve ever seen. It’s made from lightweight brushed aluminum (but is very durable at the same time!) and has six different color versions – Aluminum Silver, Vintage Gold, Modern Bronze, Titanium Gray, Rally Blue and Jet Black. The case also comes with a protective film for the front and back sides of your iPhone 4S, protecting them from scratches, which is also a nice addition.
This cool case costs $29.99, which seems to be quite a reasonable price.
2. Speck CandyShell Card Case

The CandyShell Card Case designed by Speck is an example of a case that is both stylish and really useful – it has a slot on its back for keeping credit cards and maybe some cash, too. So you can get rid of your old wallet and use this nice case instead.
Speck CandyShell Card Case comes in three colors – blue, grey and white – and costs $39.95.
3. XtremeMac Tuffwrap Shift Case

I guess ladies will like the third case for the iPhone 4S I’m going to introduce – the XtremeMac Tuffwrap Shift Case. If you think that fingerprints on a phone don’t look stylish at all, you haven’t seen the fingerprints of this this cool case! XtremeMac Tuffwrap Shift Case uses a special heat-activated color changing technology that reveals stylish palm prints on the case when you hold it in your hand.
The pink, grey, green and blue version of this case have white palm prints on them, and the purple and orange versions come with blue and yellow prints respectively. You’ll have to pay only $29.99 for this stylish case, and it’s worth it.
Of course, there are many other cool cases in the market designed for the new iPhone 4S, and I’ll try to write about more of them soon.

Once again, we are here with the LTE-enabled 4G iPhone device news. It appears that Apple is again expected by the industry sources of the publication, which claims that Apple to launch 4G LTE iPhone next year as the iPhone 5, the report comes from the sources of Digitimes. According to their source, the next iPhone from Apple will support the embedded 4G LTE radio. It’s been a long time when apple is rumored to power its iPhone with the next-generation network.

Firstly, sources claimed this year that Apple is preparing the next-generation iPhone with the latest 4G LTE technology, but later this year we found that Apple had not implemented the LTE technology instead of it. They added the support of the next generation 3G network called HSDPA+. The report comes from the anonymous industry source of Digitimes, the past track of Digitimes in breaking news about the iPhone is bit sketchy.
On the other hand, the report also suggests that Nokia, RIM and Sony Erricson will also join the 4G LTE enabled the phone party by next year. It appears most of the smartphone vendors stop due to incompatibility of the 4G network with most of the current available technology. Currently, there are 35 LTE networks and that number is expected to bypass 100 by the end of 2012.
The 4G LTE network is a super-fast network and will change the way you see wireless. With 4G LTE networks, you can download movies, music and games in minutes.

A day ago we have posted about the video showing the iBook fix on iOS 5 by the infamous jailbreak hacker iH8sn0w. The hacker shows up iBook application running on iOS 5 jailbroken device and claimed that he is working on the fix, and the current status of the fix is enough to launch publicly as the fix is not much stable to get the air of public launch.

After a day of demo video, It appears that someone is also actively working on the iBook fix on iOS 5 jailbroken devices, and as well comes up with a little fix to get the application back working on iOS 5 jailbreaked device. The fix for iBook on iOS 5 that appears today still not enough to get you all features of iBook on the device, but can at least allow you to read or use your iBook app for reading books or the most awaited Steve Jobs biography.
In the above talked solution you also face some errors on your iOS device, especially while syncing the books on your device with iTunes. The fix also does not allow you to make or transfer any old purchase of books, to get books on it; you have to manually add them through the jailbreak tweaks/ tools available for Windows or Mac OS X.

Fix iBooks On iOS 5 Jailbroken Devices
Now follow the steps below & embedded video provided by iDownloadBlog:
Step 1: Uninstall iBooks, and then reinstall iBooks from the App Store. Do not open the app.
Step 2: Open iFile, and copy iBooks.app from /var/mobile/Applications/(iBook’s folder)/ to /Applications. You can use SBSettings, or just go through each folder to identify the correct iBooks folder. If you don’t have a lot of App Store apps, this should be simple.
Step 3: Tap on /Applications/iBooks.app/Info.plist and select property list editor. Tap CFBundleIdentifier and change com.apple.iBooks to com.apple.iBooksFix
Step 4: Exit iFile and Respring.
Step 5: Delete the original iBooks app (rounded corners) and keep the square iBooks app.
Step 6: Since you can’t use the iBookstore on device, and you can’t sync with iTunes, upload your .epub files using the methods outlined on the video, dropbox, etc. From there you can open them using iBooks where you will be able to read them.

China is one of the most targeted land for Apple’s iOS devices, as we have already learned from the CEO of Apple that they have different plans for the China mainland to throw their device and to expand their business in the biggest land of the world with the World’s largest carrier. It appears that Apple has currently only one Chinese carrier in its partner list, while others are still trying to make the deal with Apple.

According to the Reuters today report, China Mobile has announced the achievement of the new milestone of ten million iPhone users on its network, despite the company failed to make a deal with Apple to get their device legally for their network customers. China Mobile is not an official Apple’s Partner Carrier for the distribution of the iPhone in the China mainland.

Having a 10 Million iPhone users on a carrier is might be not a big deal, but having much amount of users on the carrier where users only get the speed of 2G network, and the rest of the world moving to 4G. Apple’s iPhone is not compatible with the TD-SCDMA 3G network used by the China Mobile. At the current time, China Unicom is only the exclusive official carrier who supplies the iPhone in China’s mainland, although all the other big carriers of the country still trying make a deal with Apple for selling its iPhone on their network. In the last few months, we learned that China Mobile and Apple had having some meetings on launching the new iPhone on the carrier. China Mobile is currently the world’s largest wireless carrier with over 600 million customers.

iPhone 4S Siri has already given a deep shot on the Apple’s rival business, as the folks losing their patience to run it on their device, and because of the Apple strategy of limiting it only to the latest iPhone 4S hardware currently. It appears that some Android developers has copied the same concept and the same alphabets of the Apple’s iPhone 4S Siri to introduce the new clone app of Siri, “IRIS” app for the Android devices to provide them a virtual assistant. But how far it works?

It appears that large number of android users have already installed the application on their devices and started making buzz around the internet by making fun of its ugly behavior towards the owners of the device. The “IRIS” app is said to be developed in the 8 hours of work, which attracts more people to itself. The application is currently available in the Android Market for free. No doubt, Siri is an intelligent application and service of Apple on iPhone 4S, but this time Android developers tried to make something in very less time, but sigh… still copying the concept and the name concept of the original application.

IRIS for Android is not the first app there who provides the voice recognition and talking assistant features, there are several apps available in the Android Market, who provides the same functionality on the Android devices, but the IRIS is a bit different from all of them and works similar to the Apple’s iPhone 4S Siri. While the IRIS start making round on tech blogs, a user come up with a really ugly thing of the app which totally lies in the favor of Apple, in short at least saying the truth.

The user asked the IRIS on his Samsung Galaxy S II about the iPhone and the best device of the world, and the answer was a bit shocking for the user who holds the device, the IRIS believes that the Apple’s iPhone is the best device ever created till now. After spending couple of minutes with the application, we think the app will blow the Android reputation with its answers to the users.
