Sources close to the future production of Mac OS claim that Apple developer department is looking forward to implementing these features on Mac OS X Lion Until now, this is the first claim we hear about the implementation of AirPlay and iMessage into Mac OS X, there is still a layer of confusion about the availability of the features in next versions of Mac OS. AirPlay on Mac OS X Lion will allow users to wirelessly exactly mirror their screen to other fellows connected within one connection. The feature will work similarly to iOS AirPlay feature. On the launch of iMessage, we heard a rumor from sources that Apple may merge the Mac OS iChat with the iOS 5 iMessage, but the today’s report claimed that if they implement iMessage to Mac OS X then for sure it comes as a standalone application in the operating system. It appears that Apple has been working on the new Ultra-thin 15-inch Macbook Pro LCD, and has just finished the testing phase of the new 15-inch LCD of MacBook Pro. According to a report by Japanese based blog, Macotakar.jp. Apple has finished the testing of new 15-inch LCD units for the new Ultra-thin MacBook Pro. The report also hints on that Apple is on a way to produce a 15-inch Macbook Air, which was recently rumored by the sources. From a long time, Apple was rumored to be working on the ultra-thin MacBook Pro 15-inch model, and the company was also spotted by the sources in the past while testing of the ultra-thin display for the new MacBook Air.
The blog also claims that this new MacBook Pro model will not get the Optical drives, same as MacBook Air models. As the hackers were on to it, yes the Siri to run on iPhone 4 but fortunately hackers also jumped on iPod touch 4 to run Siri on it which they accomplished succesfully. Mark: So, you also got Siri working on the fourth-generation iPod touch, how is that working out? Steven: We got chpwn’s iPod touch up and running with Siri after proving it works on my iPhone 4. Unfortunately the microphone on the iPod is nowhere near as good as the iPhone – you will notice that the Siri level meter hardly moves when you talk to it. While it does work, you have to speak loudly and clearly to the iPod. Mark: How long did porting take you, what was the “I got it” moment? Steven: Basically, I already had everything I needed to make it work. I had spent a lot of time mapping out in my head exactly how Siri works on the iPhone. All I needed was access to a jailbroken iPhone 4S to put my hunch to the test. It literally took no longer than 10 minutes to put all the pieces in place and perform our first test on my iPhone 4, and it was an instant success.
It appears that after working hard on the Apple’s iPhone 4S new Siri service, finally the hackers come up with a successful port of Siri on old generation devices like iPhone 4 and iPod Touch. We have already hear couple of times in last few days that hackers are working on the Siri port and they have successfully ported its GUI and some other files to iPhone 4 but they could not make it to run on the iPhone 4 hardware because of Apple’s Server connection with Siri.
Siri have to connect with Apple’s service servers in order to work on any device, hackers have to create a layer between iPhone 4 hardware and Siri Server to make it work on other iOS devices. Today the hacker @Stroughtonsmith and infamous @Chpwn claimed that they have finally able to bypass the security and now able to port Siri on any old generation device running iOS 5. The hackers had uploaded a video showing the comparison between iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S running Siri. In the video, the hackers just ask simple questions to Siri from iPhone 4 hardware but throughout it works well on iPhone 4. The hacker actually claimed that this port contains some extracted files from the iPhone 4S core files, and for it they jailbroke iPhone 4S. The developers have said that there will be “no public release soon” and not to ask. A public release also seems unlikely due to the legal issues in repackaging Apple’s code and distributing it.

After the couple of weeks debate finally we have been able to install iPhone 4S Siri on the old generation devices like iPhone 4 and iPod Touch running iOS 5, but in jailbroken status. We have reported earlier last week that some developers have been working hard to port Siri on iPhone 4, and on other devices. Since they got a way to do the port of Siri to iPhone 4 but didn’t get a contact with Apple’s Siri Service servers.
We have been hearing about Siri port, since the Apple has introduced it in iPhone 4S. The infamous jailbreak hacker iH8sn0w announced on twitter that he has been working on a port with a new hacker named @Jacoplane, who claimed earlier this month that he got way to made connection with Apple servers right from the hardware of iPhone 4. He published number of iPhone 4 and iPad 2 pictures showing Siri running on both devices, but it seems that he only ported the GUI of the Siri. Well earlier this week, we got information about a little mod who allows you to port iPhone 4S Siri GUI on your iPhone 4 and iPod Touch. Actually, the mod contains some files from the iPhone 4S firmware, which was extracted by the hackers to port the Siri. So If you are interested to port its GUI, follow the below mentioned tutorial.
Step 1: First of all, You have to jailbreak your device on iOS 5 running tethered jailbreak or Semi-tethered with Redsn0w or Sn0wbreeze Step 2: Download the below mentioned files required for the Siri port to iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4G. Step 3: Using a file explorer for your iOS device, copy over the AssistantServices.frameworkfolder you downloaded in Step 2 to Root > System > Library > PrivateFrameworks after plugging in your device to your computer via USB. Step 4: Transfer all files from the Springboard folder in Step 2 to Root > System > Library > CoreServices > Springboard.app on your iOS device. Step 5: Using iFile (you can get it from Cydia), open the .plist file for your iOS device fromSystem > Library > CoreServices > Springboard.app. It will be named N81AP for iPod touch 4G and N9x for iPhone 4 (where x may be 0, 1, 2). Since the Apple has started its iOS 5 beta testing among the enrolled developers with their dev program, including our dev many other developers had tested the beta version of iOS 5 and share their bug finds with the rest of the world. It appears that some iOS 5 bugs pop up’s on the Gold Master build of the firmware, where users have noticed a fall in the battery timing of the devices.
Since we updated our different devices to the iOS 5 GM, we had also noticed that something is going on in the system. We just ignored the bug, and chose to wait for the final version of firmware to come up with the fix of battery drainage. As the iPhone 4S launched earlier this month along with iOS 5, once again Apple public forums lit up with the complains of battery drainage on iOS 5 and especially on iPhone 4S. Many experts come up with numerous tips and tricks to solve the issue on new iPhone 4S along with other iOS 5 running devices, but none of them actually work there and the battery drainage goes on. Users reported that battery timing of iPhone 4S is completely insane. Firstly, it was reported that this battery drainage is happening due to the implementation of new features into iOS 5, but later it is tested that some other bug is causing this issue on all iOS 5 running devices. Well folks two weeks back when the iPhone 4S debuted as the reviewers reviewed and many complained about the battery life. Every one believes that the battery of iPhone 4 was much better than iPhone 4S’s. Back when the iPhone debuted in 2010 users complaint the antenna gate issue which Apple noticed but not that much as the battery is the important because it only makes the device portable thats why Apple engineers follow the users of iPhone 4S by installing a diagnosis application in each device to check about the battery issue. The Guardian reported about this, when an iPhone 4S holder told them about the monitoring program which got installed on the device
I then got a call from a senior [Apple] engineer who said he had read my post and was ‘reaching out’ to users for data and admitted this was an issue (and that they aren’t close to finding a fix!) and asked lots of questions about my usage and then asked if he could install the file below and that he would call back the day after to retrieve the info. I extracted the file from my Mac after a sync and emailed it to him. He was incredibly helpful and apologetic in the typical Apple way!

It appears that Apple is losing its glory of the World’s top smartphone selling vendor to the Korean based company and one of the biggest rivals of the Apple, Samsung. It is reported that Samsung had beaten the Apple in smartphone sales in the past Q3 quarter. Along with it is also reported by the analyst firm that China’s handset maker ZTE also beats the Apple in the production of smartphones, and become’s the world’s No. 4 mobile phones maker. Apple was on No.3. From last three-months, but with the announcement of Q3 earning Apple reveals that they have actually broken the hopes of an analyst and lost their glory in front of other mobile manufacturers. In the start of year, Apple beat the Nokia and become the top-selling smartphone manufacturer but with the hearing of Q3 earnings, Samsung gained the title from Apple.
According to the earning reports, during Q3 ZTE shipped more than 18.5 million cell phones, , a jump from 14 million devices during the same period in 2010, research firm Strategy Analytics announced Thursday. At the same time, Apple shipped only 17.1 million iPhones, up from 14.1 million devices in the third quarter of 2010, but interestingly down from 20.34 million from the previous quarter of the year. Researchers point out that Apple lost its glory due to a big gap in the introduction of the new device, and also the rumors of iPhone 5 had just destroyed the sales of the third quarter of this year. It appears that iPhone Dev team has posted the couple of evidence regarding the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 jailbreaks on iOS 5. Earlier today they have published few screenshots of iPhone 4S running Cydia and noted that the jailbreak is in very preliminary stage, MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev Team noted that jailbreak still requires a lot of work.
After publishing the pictures of iPhone 4S running a Cydia on iOS 5, it is reported that iPhone Dev Team also uploaded a video to their Youtube channel, demoing the iPad 2 running a Cydia on iOS 5. Similarly, to the iPhone 4S, the team also mentioned in the description that iPad 2 jailbreaks on iOS 5 is also in the preliminary stage and requires a lot of work to be done.
Currently, the iPad 2 can be only jailbreak through using the Web based jailbreak named JailbreakMe 3.0 by Comex. However, the iPad 2 jailbreak do not support the new iOS 5 firmware, and requires a complete new jailbreak for the new version.

Once again, we are here with the long going patents battle between two biggest tech companies of the world. Apple and Samsung have been suing each other from last few months, and we have seen that Apple has achieved several cases against the products of Samsung and gain several injunctions against the sales of Samsung Galaxy Tab in Australia.
It appears right before the launch of iPhone 4S that Samsung is preparing to sue Apple in several different courts and may ask for the preliminary injunction for the iPhone 4S in country’s ground even before the actual launch of the device in the European Countries, where Apple has gained an injunction against its devices. However, it seems that Samsung is out of luck, because a new report claim that Judge has dismissed the Samsung request on iPhone 4S ban and said to first complete your document then knock the ground of a jury. According to a report of an Italian news website AGI, a judge has just denied the request of Samsung for banning iPhone 4S sales in Italy. The judge asks both companies to provide more information regarding their case each other, and she will review the information later in December, and will announce its decision. The case is definitely not closed, but it sure looks good for Apple. It doesn’t surprise us because Apple has won all the legal battles with Samsung so far.

Adobe has today launched the new service Carousel for Mac OS and iOS devices users, an online image management service which they have announced back in September. Adobe has launched an app for Mac OS and iOS devices in the App Store which allow users to sync and manage their images across their iOS devices and Mac OS running machines indirectly via iCloud, the service requires a paid account on Adobe with service activation on Adobe’s online storage for $99 a year. The storage subscription is available at launch for a discounted price of $59.99, or $5.99 a month.
Carousel also allows you to perform non-destructive image editing on your device with the new service and includes new features of fixing exposure, white balance and saturation, which save the original value of the photo. The service as well allows you to set privacy options on your icloud libraries with Adobe, and gives privileges to other public users to access them, if you have given the rights. Adobe also announces that they want to provide a complete cross-platform solution for their users, and they have actually begun the work on Windows and Android version of the service, soon they will release them to their users, which allows them to sync the photos all over their devices. Adobe Carousel is a free download from both the App Store and the Mac App Store.
It appears that Apple is facing some difficulties with its LCD display suppliers for its iOS devices. It is reported that Apple has been working with Samsung and LG for the iPad 3 Retina Display screens but didn’t get any success in the project. Streaming Video through the Apple’s iPad is become a new trend among the users, who wishes to watch their channels on their devices and therefore, almost every other TV operator has launched its app for iPad to stream its content on iOS devices, such as Comcast, Time Warner and Optimium are enjoying their channels on iPad with dedicated applications available in the App Store.

It appears that Apple has sent email notifications to the developers who sign up for the Apple’s new iTunes Match service. The email contains a letter from the Apple that they will wipe out the all iTunes Match music data from iCloud on Thursday, October 27th. Apple has sent out the emails to all developers to inform them about the reset of iTunes Match and instructs the developers to turn off the iTunes Match from all of their devices, including, iOS devices and their computer machines.
The user data wipe was also performed back at the launch time of iOS 5, when the service was actually scheduled to launch for the general public but at last time Apple changed the decision and pushed “iTunes Match” launch to the “End of October.” It seems that now Apple is preparing for the iTunes Match launch and therefore, they have announced that they will wipe out all the data on October 27th. Apple has been testing this service from a quite long time between the specific amount of developers who earlier got access on the service through the new iTunes 10.5.1. It is also expected that Apple may release a new update of iTunes 10.5.1 in the few upcoming days ahead of the iTunes Match launch, because they have disabled the iTunes Match section from the iTunes 10.5 public versions and pushed it to the iTunes 10.5.1. After opening the pre-orders of iPhone 4S earlier this week to other 22 countries Apple was expected to launch a new program in their infamous Apple Retail Store and Online Store, they were rumored to introduce a new pilot program in Store, which could allow users to shop their orders and pick the products from their local Apple retail stores. Earlier today it is reported that Apple Online store is going through the schedule maintenance period which in result added the new feature to the Store, but initially, the service is only appeared for the San Francisco three Apple Retail Stores. Yes, yes Saudi guys we have the iPhone 4S available now but mind, its not the official launch. The Jarir guys have imported the iPhone 4S to Saudi Arabia for there beloved customers and of course its with “Siri” and “FaceTime”. Folk’s the notification center has been rolled over the minds of the developers and they are just doing all the development for it. We also got the special theme over for the notification center and the SBSettings also was changed to BBSettings as they were shifted to the Notification center. Most of the rocking tweaks were shifted to the Notification Center as it was the best place to place all the bulk at one place. A day ago we have posted about the video showing the iBook fix on iOS 5 by the infamous jailbreak hacker iH8sn0w. The hacker shows up iBook application running on iOS 5 jailbroken device and claimed that he is working on the fix, and the current status of the fix is enough to launch publicly as the fix is not much stable to get the air of public launch.
After a day of demo video, It appears that someone is also actively working on the iBook fix on iOS 5 jailbroken devices, and as well comes up with a little fix to get the application back working on iOS 5 jailbreaked device. The fix for iBook on iOS 5 that appears today still not enough to get you all features of iBook on the device, but can at least allow you to read or use your iBook app for reading books or the most awaited Steve Jobs biography. In the above talked solution you also face some errors on your iOS device, especially while syncing the books on your device with iTunes. Step 1: Uninstall iBooks, and then reinstall iBooks from the App Store. Do not open the app. Step 2: Open iFile, and copy iBooks.app from /var/mobile/Applications/(iBook’s folder)/ to /Applications. You can use SBSettings, or just go through each folder to identify the correct iBooks folder. If you don’t have a lot of App Store apps, this should be simple. Step 3: Tap on /Applications/iBooks.app/Info.plist and select property list editor. Tap CFBundleIdentifier and change com.apple.iBooks to com.apple.iBooksFix Step 4: Exit iFile and Respring. Step 5: Delete the original iBooks app (rounded corners) and keep the square iBooks app. Step 6: Since you can’t use the iBookstore on device, and you can’t sync with iTunes, upload your .epub files using the methods outlined on the video, dropbox, etc. From there you can open them using iBooks where you will be able to read them.
