Well the first iPhone launched back in 2007 when Steve Jobs’s claimed

I have been waiting for 2 years.

At that time it was nothing except iPhone, the Nokia and Samsung folks were the rulers and the BlackBerry was just around there. Apple brought a clean, impressive capacitive touch screen in the market with sprinkling Multi Touch which mainly attractive the consumers before that the “QWERTY” physical keyboards were the devices for the rich folks but first when the iPhone released it was a real ‘WANT’ kinda thing and if we think now about the iPhone it pops up that why shouldn’t we head up for any other device.. Well, guys the other manufactures are using the Apple ideas.
A book by Former Senior Vice President of Apple (Ex) Jay Elliot with Willam L. Simon “The Steve Jobs Way”, it had a wonderful line which we would like to share about iPhone

When the first ever iPhone launched on June 29, 2007 it topped 270,000 devices which were sold in first 30 hours and on and on. 

This is how the increment of love is described, the iPhone 3G topped 1 million sales after 3 days on, iPhone 3GS 1 million too, iPhone 4 topped 1.7 million after 3 days on and iPhone 4S topped 4 million after 3 days on….. It is recorded in the bases of a week too.

I found this tip by accident and wanted to share it--hope you haven’t heard this before. One frustrating thing about the iPhone is photo management. Oh, sure, you get a chance to delete photos after importing them into iPhoto, but you only get that one chance, and it’s all or nothing. If you only want to delete some of the photos, you’ve got to do that manually on the phone--or so I thought.

Turns out there’s another way. Plug in your iPhone and open Preview, then select File > Import From [Your iPhone’s Name]. A window appears showing all the photos on your phone, and you can move them around, save them to disk, and delete them from the phone individually or in batches. Don’t ask me why this is in Preview and not iPhoto!

Preview's photo-import window has tons of information and power. Who knew?

This tip works with iPads too, and if you have both an iPad and an iPhone connected to your Mac at once, the menu item becomes Import From Camera, with a submenu that lets you choose which device. We are just as baffled as you regarding why this is in Preview instead of iPhoto, or even stuck in iTunes somewhere. But it works great, and that’s the most important thing.

Find My iPhone

If you've lost an iPhone and you haven't signed up for MobileMe, you know the pain and misery of trying to track it down without Find My iPhone. with iOS 4.2 you get free, that's right free, Find My iPhone. There is a catch, you need to set it up with an iPhone 4, iPad, or 4th generation iPod touch. Once that's done, you can find all your iOS devices.

Notice the new rectangle with arrow shooting out of it? Yeah, that's your new friend AirPlay. Airplay sends your pictures, audio, and video to the Apple TV, and audio to Airport Express and third-party speakers that support AirPlay.

iPad:


In the iPod app the button to send your music via AirPlay. In other apps, the AirPlay icon is to the right of the volume control.

If you have the Apple TV, for video the button is to the right of the controller.

Once the video is playing, you'll see this screen on your iPad.
iPhone:


In AirPlay-compatible apps, the button is to the right controller.

Tap it and you can choose your AirPlay enabled base station or speakers.

For video, it's just like the iPad with the AirPlay button to the right of the controller.

And of course the dialog to remind you where your video is playing.

Backup Your iPhone, iPod or iPad

Before you upgrade your device it's always a good idea to back up all of your data. This is especially important when you haven't synced your device in a while. While the chances of a error occurring and forcing you to go full restore are slim, it's always a good idea to backup your stuff.


Plug your device into iTunes, right click on your device in the left panel. Select Back Up from the drop down menu. It might take a while, but it's worth it if things going horribly wrong.

You can adjust what is controlled by the volume rocker button on the outside of the iPhone and iPad.
Navigate to Settings > Sounds Change with Buttons to turn the ability to adjust the ringer and alert sounds from the external buttons on or off.

Mail for iOS has become better, more streamlined, and even includes the ability to format text. Continuing our iOS 5 coverage, we’ll show you exactly how to use and take advantages of Mail's new features.

1. Text Formatting and Indents

When creating a new email message, you are able to format text using bold, italic, or underlined fonts. You are also able to create indents in the text.


In order to access these features, select a the text that you wish to apply formatting to, and then tap the right-pointing arrow to access the additional menu items.

Tap on the BIU button in order to apply bold, italic, or underline formatting to the text.


To apply an indention, tap on the Quote Level button, and then select either Increase or Decrease in order to increase or decrease the quote (indention) level.

2. Flagging and Marking Messages

Now when you flag and mark mail, you'll also see new features. Tap on the Mark button once you have selected one or more messages using the Edit feature.


After tapping on this button, you will be presented with two options: Flag or Mark As Read/Unread.

Tapping on the Flag button will flag the message in your Inbox, which will also flag the item on your Desktop (if you use IMAP, and depending on your email provider). Tapping on the Mark as Read/Unread will change the state of the message, making it appear as read or unread. This feature has been around for a while, but not in the multiple-edit feature of Mail.

3. Rearranging Names in Address Field

One of the smaller shortcomings in iOS's Mail application has been the inability to rearrange names in the address field. The names would simply be stuck in the order that you entered them in mail. Well, this is no more.
When adding addresses to the To, CC, or BCC fields in Mail, simply tap and hold on the name, and move it around to any field, or in any order you wish.

4. Add and Delete Mailbox Folders

You now have the ability to add and remove Mailbox folders on-the-fly. Simply navigate to any of your email accounts, and tap on the Edit button in the upper, right-hand corner of the screen.
To create a new folder, tap on the “New Folder” button in the lower, right-hand corner of the screen. This will take you to a new screen to enter the name of the new folder.
To rename or delete an exiting folder, just tap on it after tapping the Edit button. You will be presented with a screen that will let you edit the name of the folder, change the location, or delete it entirely.

5. Search Body of Messages

iOS 5’s Mail now has the ability to search through the body of email messages, providing better email search results. When searching, tap on the “All” field to search all parts of the email message.
