It appears that Apple is working to port the iMessage and AirPlay feature to its new upcoming Mac OS X Lion future versions. Both of the feature applications are currently in the development. Sources close to the future production of Mac OS claim that Apple developer department is looking forward to implementing these features on Mac OS X Lion Until now, this is the first claim we hear about the implementation of AirPlay and iMessage into Mac OS X, there is still a layer of confusion about the availability of the features in next versions of Mac OS.
AirPlay on Mac OS X Lion will allow users to wirelessly exactly mirror their screen to other fellows connected within one connection. The feature will work similarly to iOS AirPlay feature. It appears that the new feature in Mac OS also allows users to mirror their screen to iOS devices.

On the launch of iMessage, we heard a rumor from sources that Apple may merge the Mac OS iChat with the iOS 5 iMessage, but the today’s report claimed that if they implement iMessage to Mac OS X then for sure it comes as a standalone application in the operating system. Still, we can’t be sure on the claim of earlier sources because there might be a lot of things after a sometime of this report. This iMessage application will connect to iMessage for iOS, which debuted as a free messaging client for iPads, iPhones, and iPod touches running iOS 5.

It appears that Apple has been working on the new Ultra-thin 15-inch Macbook Pro LCD, and has just finished the testing phase of the new 15-inch LCD of MacBook Pro. According to a report by Japanese based blog, Macotakar.jp. Apple has finished the testing of new 15-inch LCD units for the new Ultra-thin MacBook Pro. The report also hints on that Apple is on a way to produce a 15-inch Macbook Air, which was recently rumored by the sources.
From a long time, Apple was rumored to be working on the ultra-thin MacBook Pro 15-inch model, and the company was also spotted by the sources in the past while testing of the ultra-thin display for the new MacBook Air.

The blog also claims that this new MacBook Pro model will not get the Optical drives, same as MacBook Air models. Apple has been working for a long time to quit the using of Optical drives in their products, earlier this year we have seen that Apple launches its next generation of Mac OS X Lion over the internet, and they didn’t produce any disc for the OS installation. The new ultra-thin MacBook Pro was also rumored back in July to be in the last testing stages, and now after the today’s report it seems that now they are pushed to production stage of the units.

Siri Finally Cracked To Work Properly On iPod Touch 4

Posted: by AppleWorld in Labels:

It appears that after working hard on the Apple’s iPhone 4S new Siri service, finally the hackers come up with a successful port of Siri on old generation devices like iPhone 4 and iPod Touch. We have already hear couple of times in last few days that hackers are working on the Siri port and they have successfully ported its GUI and some other files to iPhone 4 but they could not make it to run on the iPhone 4 hardware because of Apple’s Server connection with Siri.

Siri have to connect with Apple’s service servers in order to work on any device, hackers have to create a layer between iPhone 4 hardware and Siri Server to make it work on other iOS devices. Today the hacker @Stroughtonsmith and infamous @Chpwn claimed that they have finally able to bypass the security and now able to port Siri on any old generation device running iOS 5. The hackers had uploaded a video showing the comparison between iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S running Siri.
In the video, the hackers just ask simple questions to Siri from iPhone 4 hardware but throughout it works well on iPhone 4. The hacker actually claimed that this port contains some extracted files from the iPhone 4S core files, and for it they jailbroke iPhone 4S. The developers have said that there will be “no public release soon” and not to ask. A public release also seems unlikely due to the legal issues in repackaging Apple’s code and distributing it.

iPhone 4S Drinks The Battery, Apple Engineers Take Action

Posted: by AppleWorld in Labels:

Well folks two weeks back when the iPhone 4S debuted as the reviewers reviewed and many complained about the battery life. Every one believes that the battery of iPhone 4 was much better than iPhone 4S’s. Back when the iPhone debuted in 2010 users complaint the antenna gate issue which Apple noticed but not that much as the battery is the important because it only makes the device portable thats why Apple engineers follow the users of iPhone 4S by installing a diagnosis application in each device to check about the battery issue. The Guardian reported about this, when an iPhone 4S holder told them about the monitoring program which got installed on the device

I then got a call from a senior [Apple] engineer who said he had read my post and was ‘reaching out’ to users for data and admitted this was an issue (and that they aren’t close to finding a fix!) and asked lots of questions about my usage and then asked if he could install the file below and that he would call back the day after to retrieve the info. I extracted the file from my Mac after a sync and emailed it to him. He was incredibly helpful and apologetic in the typical Apple way!

Claiming this that the iPhone 4S drains the battery, a lot doesn’t satisfy about the iPhone 4 drainage. The iPhone 4′s battery also drains fastly as I have experienced, in standby mode the battery decreases by 5% and the iPhone 4S’s decreases by 10% according to users experience, whats the use of such device which you charge… and then charge again ! Well, don’t get sad by your new sleek device because TUAW has reported some battery saving ways, similar to the old ones so by following them you will get more time of using the device than charging
  1. Lower screen brightness. A blazing screen equals a blazing battery. Move that slider a bit to the left.
  2. Reduce alerts you don’t need. Yes, push notifications are wonderful as are their corresponding beeps. Just look at how many you’ve got enabled and whittle it down to the essential.
  3. Enable quick screen locking. You can typically let the display go to sleep when you aren’t actively using your iPhone.
  4. Enable Airplane mode when offline. It kills Wi-Fi and data dead. Plus it’s polite to whomever you happen to be talking with.
  5. Reduce email checking. Do you really need to see a new message every five minutes?
  6. Make sure you’re not synchronizing massive mail folders you don’t actually need on the go, like Sent, Drafts or Junk.
  7. Try de-synchronizing your Exchange, iCloud or Google contacts and seeing if that improves matters — you may have a corrupt contact record in there.

One of the hard moments comes for the company when their international employees stop working and went on strike right ahead of the upcoming device launch. It appears that some Apple employees go on strike in Rome Apple Retail Store right on the iPhone 4S launch, where everyone is happy for being at least gotten hands on the latest cool device from Apple.

It is reported that some of Apple Rome Est store employees go on strike and protest again the company for their rights. The employees had also closed the store nationwide with their union, as well as distribute strike notice among the customers and other fellow workers. Here is the statement of the employees:
“We work for the apple, but we are the fruit,” reads the official statement prepared by the employees along with Apple and the Cub FLAICA Rome “And ‘a little, in short, the phrase that best describes the situation of workers Apple. The reasons for our protest in a proposal. For several months, we engaged in a confrontation with the company aimed at enhancing the themes that relate to wages, safety, dignity, aspects covered include also the view of our opinion of Apple workers expressed through our representatives on the organization of domestic labor . Here, after a first meeting, the company decided to close like a clam without giving us any kind of explanation, or providing answers in the time agreed that had been fixed by September. We believe that in addition to “good intentions” in ads announced the company can and should do more, by implementing measures that go in that direction. An old saying that “the walls are papered hell of good intentions,” we do not want this to happen even Apple, which is why we are here on strike, to make our demands visible and invite the company to reopen a dialogue, since it no longer responded to our requests for meeting and discussion. We apologize to customers who now will inevitably suffer the inconvenience, but we encourage you to empathize with us and working with our reasons, which are designed to create good working conditions and an even better service for you customers. “ Sorry for poor translation – Google Translation
Until now, we have not heard anything yet about the Apple’s move on this strike, but surely we will keep you updated once we get news from local sources.

Apple has been working hard from the last couple of years and now become one of the word’s manufacturers who actively revolutionizing our way of interacting with mobile phones and the rest of other technology gadgets. Before the introduction of iPhone touch screen, there were a large number of manufacturers who produced smartphones with touch screen UI, but none of them work like Apple iPhone.

After introducing an elegant way of interacting with touch screen smartphones, Apple comes up again with the amazing Siri – an intelligent personal assistant that shocked the world with its amazing performance on the device. Apple totally changed the way of interacting with devices once again with the introduction of Siri on iPhone 4S.
However, it appears that Apple is not going to stop its mission of revolutionizing the world with its inventions. A new patent application registered last week in the database of USTPO, which suggests that Apple is moving on some new technology that allows users to control their devices without even touching them, through 3D real moving gestures. The USTPO published a patent application from Apple earlier this week entitled “real-time video Time Video Process Control Using Gestures.
It seems that Apple looking for a technology related to Xbox Kinect box, which is based on the moving gestures of the body. The process of implementing this type of technology to iOS devices may involve the front-facing camera of the device and made it to record & read the non-touch commands of the users. However, at least at this time, we can surely claim that this type of technology not going to come on the devices soon, as we are years away from this type of technology. However, we can at least enjoy the bits of Apple RD (Research and Development)

Rumors of Apple HDTV now start circulating around the globe since the Steve Jobs Biography launches in the public. A large number of tech geeks purchased the book to read and found out an interesting quote by Jobs that he “found a way to crack into a TV.” We have found that couple of sources already starts claiming on the base of their industry checks that Apple is so far prototyping the Apple HDTV for testing.
The analyst believes that Apple may launch its Apple HDTV next year with complete revolutionized features, exactly similar to the iTunes and iPhone as they have already revolutionized the way of interacting with devices and the way of managing music or videos on several devices. Some of the geeks believe that Jobs meant to be an TV with the new iPhone 4S Siri, which could allow users to communicate with TV’s and to control them with their voices. Steve Jobs think that the TV product will completely change the TV.

In addition to all rumors and analyst believes. It appears today that the New York Times. Nick Bilton receives some information about the Apple TV, especially about the integration of Siri into a TV. He says in the post that Siri will replace the need of the controller, and user will navigate between content on its large screen using the voice commands. Bilton quotes anonymous sources saying that an Apple television is a “guaranteed product for Apple” because “Steve thinks the industry is totally broken,” which is echoed by passages in Steve Jobs’ biography.
Bilton also said in a note that the Cupertino Company was working on the project since 2007, the year when Apple has launched the iPhone and the Apple TV set-top box to general public. He as well noted in a post that company still needed to do a quiet work on the project before speaking out on it to be public.

Samsung Out Of Luck In Italy On iPhone 4S Sales Ban

Posted: by AppleWorld in Labels: ,

Once again, we are here with the long going patents battle between two biggest tech companies of the world. Apple and Samsung have been suing each other from last few months, and we have seen that Apple has achieved several cases against the products of Samsung and gain several injunctions against the sales of Samsung Galaxy Tab in Australia.

It appears right before the launch of iPhone 4S that Samsung is preparing to sue Apple in several different courts and may ask for the preliminary injunction for the iPhone 4S in country’s ground even before the actual launch of the device in the European Countries, where Apple has gained an injunction against its devices. However, it seems that Samsung is out of luck, because a new report claim that Judge has dismissed the Samsung request on iPhone 4S ban and said to first complete your document then knock the ground of a jury.
According to a report of an Italian news website AGI, a judge has just denied the request of Samsung for banning iPhone 4S sales in Italy. The judge asks both companies to provide more information regarding their case each other, and she will review the information later in December, and will announce its decision. The case is definitely not closed, but it sure looks good for Apple. It doesn’t surprise us because Apple has won all the legal battles with Samsung so far.

Apple Still Struggling With Samsung and LG On iPad 3 Retina Display

It appears that Apple is facing some difficulties with its LCD display suppliers for its iOS devices. It is reported that Apple has been working with Samsung and LG for the iPad 3 Retina Display screens but didn’t get any success in the project. Both of the suppliers facing production issues for the iPad 3 screens and the Apple’s massive demand of the Retina Display Screens. iPad 3 is planned to launch next year with the resolution of 2048 x 1536, sources claimed the couple of times in the past that Apple trying to fix the issue of production by playing with the volumes and its demand for the screens.

It is reported that both of the suppliers are already producing the maximum amount of LCD displays for Apple’s iOS devices, and could only produce the iPad 2 screen resolution screens at this time. According to a new report by CNET, it appears that Apple may again face issues next year with the production of Retina Display or could introduce a resolution of 1600 x1200 on iPad 3, but we believe that it won’t be going to happen because, if Apple ever introduced this resolution screen, they will create a big problem for the iOS apps developers to make their apps compatible with the new resolution.
It’s not the first time that we reported about the production issue of Retina Display, first analysts claim this year on the launch of iPad 2 that the device will carry the Retina Display but at the end, we found the device is only carries the normal resolution, after that it was expected by the high profile sources that Apple has already ready the iPad 3 for this year late launch, but they have pushed its launch to 2012 due to un availability of the Retina Displays. If Apple didn’t find any solution over the Retina Display or introduces the new 1600 x 1200 resolution on iPad, they will counter their own tradition of doubling the display resolution by years.

It appears that Apple has sent email notifications to the developers who sign up for the Apple’s new iTunes Match service. The email contains a letter from the Apple that they will wipe out the all iTunes Match music data from iCloud on Thursday, October 27th. The user data wipe was also performed back at the launch time of iOS 5, when the service was actually scheduled to launch for the general public but at last time Apple changed the decision and pushed “iTunes Match” launch to the “End of October.” It seems that now Apple is preparing for the iTunes Match launch and therefore, they have announced that they will wipe out all the data on October 27th. Apple has been testing this service from a quite long time between the specific amount of developers who earlier got access on the service through the new iTunes 10.5.1.

We have seen the couple of evidence regarding the launch of iTunes Match, as we have reported earlier this month that Apple has enabled the iTunes Match toggle in the Settings.app of iOS 5, it appears that they are on the corner with the launch of the new service.

China is one of the most targeted land for Apple’s iOS devices, as we have already learned from the CEO of Apple that they have different plans for the China mainland to throw their device and to expand their business in the biggest land of the world with the World’s largest carrier. It appears that Apple has currently only one Chinese carrier in its partner list, while others are still trying to make the deal with Apple.

According to the Reuters today report, China Mobile has announced the achievement of the new milestone of ten million iPhone users on its network, despite the company failed to make a deal with Apple to get their device legally for their network customers. China Mobile is not an official Apple’s Partner Carrier for the distribution of the iPhone in the China mainland.

Having a 10 Million iPhone users on a carrier is might be not a big deal, but having much amount of users on the carrier where users only get the speed of 2G network, and the rest of the world moving to 4G. Apple’s iPhone is not compatible with the TD-SCDMA 3G network used by the China Mobile. At the current time, China Unicom is only the exclusive official carrier who supplies the iPhone in China’s mainland, although all the other big carriers of the country still trying make a deal with Apple for selling its iPhone on their network. In the last few months, we learned that China Mobile and Apple had having some meetings on launching the new iPhone on the carrier. China Mobile is currently the world’s largest wireless carrier with over 600 million customers.
